You Tiao
Egg
Cheese (optional)
Fresh lettuce or greens
Optional protein: ham, chicken, or vegetarian patty
Mayonnaise or chili sauce (optional)
Prepare You Tiao -If frozen, reheat your You Tiao in an air fryer or oven at 180°C for 5–8 minutes until crispy.
Make the Filling -Fry an egg sunny-side up.
If using meat, pan-sear or reheat your protein of choice.
Wash and pat dry lettuce leaves.
Assemble -Slice the You Tiao lengthwise without cutting all the way through (like a hot dog bun).
Layer in lettuce, cheese, egg, and meat.
Add sauce to taste.
Serve immediately while the You Tiao is hot and crispy.
