Learn how to make easy and yummy you tiao rice rolls. Guaranteed to fill your tummy up in just one bite!
You Tiao Man
1 Celery stick
Sesame seeds (optional)
Japanese glutinous rice (easier to mould and rice will stick together easily)
HEALTHY and DELICIOUS Wholegrain You Tiao from You Tiao Man
Wash the glutinous rice, put them into a rice cooker and cook them at a ratio of 2: 1
Wash and cut the celery, cucumber and carrots into 0.5cm sticks.
Cook the chicken hot dog over low heat for later use and cut them into 0.5cm pieces.
Beat the eggs, add some soya sauce for flavouring and cook them over a pan.
Place the Wholegrain You Tiao into air fryer at 200°C for 5 minutes. If you don't have an air fryer, simply heat them up on the frying pan.
Spread the cling wrap onto a sushi rice roller.
Sprinkle some black sesame seeds on it (optional).
Spread the cooked rice onto the cling wrap, making sure it is not too thin such that the ingredients can be held inside.
Then add the sausage, celery sticks, carrots, cucumbers and drizzle some mayonnaise into the mix.
Add the crispy you tiao split into two onto the ingredients.
Roll it up!
Slice them into bite sized pieces and serve!
